Rockpool Bar & Grill Melbourne’s private dining spaces offer a range of sophisticated experiences for diners, from views overlooking the Yarra River and Melbourne City Skyline with Neil Perry tasting menus to a small and intimate gathering immersed in a classic setting with high ceilings, an impressive contemporary chandelier and a large boardroom style table that stretches the length of the room.

Choose from one of Neil Perry’s bespoke set menus which feature some Rockpool Bar & Grill’s favourites and have our wine team recommend the perfect pairing for your special event.

We can offer the full a la carte menu to small parties of 14 guests or less.

The Highland

Named after the amazing prize bull whose portrait adorns the wall, the Highland Dining Room is situated at the western end of the riverside dining area, with views over the promenade and the Yarra River.

This stunning space can accommodate up to 36 guests over four tables or a comfortable 32 across two larger tables.
The Interior Highland

For smaller groups we highly recommend the Interior Highland Dining Room. The room has an intimate, classic feel with high ceilings, an impressive contemporary decor and a large boardroom style table that stretches the length of the room and provides comfort and style.

With stylish wooden slatted doors dividing the room from the Private Terrace and the main dining room, the Interior Highland Dining Room can be booked for reservations of up to 16 guests.
The Private Terrace

The Private Terrace is the other half of The Highland Dining Room. Due to the triangular shape of the room, we can accommodate up to 22 guests over two tables or up to 18 guests on one.

Located on the waterfront side of the restaurant The Private Terrace offers spectacular views of the city skyline and the Yarra Riv. Due to it’s location other guests of the restaurant may be visible but the area does have its own private entrance for the comfort and privacy of your guests.

It has the added space available for arrival canapés and Champagne amidst the backdrop of Southbank. Perfect for any event!
ALFRED PLACE BY ROCKPOOL EVENTS

Alfred Place by Rockpool Events is our dedicated events space in the city (7 Alfred Place), where we can host a variety of larger events including up to 100 guests for a seated event or 300 cocktail.

Events at Alfred Place are delivered by Neil Perry’s premium restaurants; Rockpool Bar & Grill and Rosetta Ristorante, offering a really bespoke celebration where the quality of food, wine and service is guaranteed. As part of the larger Rockpool Dining Group, we also have canape options from our sister restaurants Spice Temple and Sake.

Menu

The full a la carte menu is updated daily to include the freshest produce available and can be arranged for groups of up to 14 guests whilst accommodated in the privacy of our private rooms.

For groups of more than 14 guests, a set menu will be required. Our two course set menus are priced at $115 per person and three course at $139 and $155 per person and must be selected prior to the date of your event.

A selection of canapés can also be arranged on arrival to enjoy with pre lunch or dinner drinks.

We have the ability to be flexible with our menus and are happy to alter or expand them to suit your tastes and preferences.

Wine

Rockpool Bar & Grill Melbourne has an extensive wine list with over 1200 wines, a full bar of spirits and a selection of bottled beers. Our Sommelier team can guide your beverage selection for a unique experience or pair with the distinctive Rockpool Bar & Grill menu.
